Our annual film festival is back at its two theater homes, Dodge College and The Frida Cinema for 3 days of celebration in Sikh arts, books and films. Starting off with a red carpeted event at Dodge College’s Folino Theater for an Opening Night with films and a special Q&A with film makers.
Then two full days of movies, from morning till evening at The Frida Cinema in nearby Downtown Santa Ana. Starting Saturday morning with a classic 1963 film, Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai. If you haven’t seen this classic on the big screen, here’s your chance!
We also have a very special session called Creative Sikhs, with Sikhs in the creative arts industry on stage for a Q&A session. Ask questions and learn from their journeys in the creative arts industry. Then sprinkled throughout both days, we have short films submitted to us from film makers around the world.
And finally, ending both days we have full-featured movies; four to choose from: Nikka Zaildar 3, Rabb Da Radio 2, Kesari and Ardaas Karaan.
