Our Distinguished Speakers

Dr. Jasleen Kaur Pannu – Interventional pulmonologist and Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University who has pioneered AI technology for early lung cancer detection. Beyond her medical accomplishments, Dr. Pannu is a passionate storyteller exploring themes of resilience, cultural identity, and healing.

Chef Inderpal Singh Chawla – Executive Chef with over 15 years of global hospitality experience, currently leading culinary programs at Market District in Dublin, Ohio. Chef Inderpal blends classical techniques with rich cultural heritage and is dedicated to using culinary arts as instruments of change and bridges between cultures.

Special Joint Presentation: Dr. Jasleen Pannu and Chef Inderpal Chawla will be speaking together, sharing personal stories that connect their professional journeys with their cultural heritage and community values.

Ms. Kiran Kaur Gill – Executive Director of the Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF), where she leads national advocacy efforts. She has advised the White House and Congress on faith-based security and was named “Small Business Person of the Year” by the U.S. Small Business Administration for her entrepreneurial leadership.

Special Performance

Gurpreet Kaur Phokela – A multidisciplinary artist with academic degrees in Physics and Hindustani Classical Music who will grace our celebration with beautiful musical performances. With 15 years of teaching experience in music and arts, Gurpreet brings her talents as a Rangoli artist and devotion to Gurbani to our special event.
