SESSION 4: Forgiveness & Reconciliation (18:45- 20:15)

VISIT TO CAPE COAST CASTLE FILM – Faith leaders delegation visit to the slave castle Accra in Ghana where 40 million slaves were taken. An interfaith delegation travels to Cape Coast Castle in Ghana, Africa. Cape Coast Castle is one of about forty “slave castles”, or large commercial forts, built on the Gold Coast of West Africa by European traders. It was originally a Portuguese “feitoria” or trading post, established in 1555, which they named Cabo Corso. Despite 12 million slaves that left Africa never to return home, forgiveness is the path to reconciliation and self-healing or you remain in your own prison.
