Sikhlens’ Impact briefly
Thanks to your contributions, we have achieved the following:
Some of these films are being used to secure grants to restore Gurdwaras and preserve the rich Sikh history in the region. Seven films in Project Pakistan are under production. They will be released in 2025.
Sikhlens is the only organization worldwide addressing the critical issue of Sikh representation in film, media, and broadcast journalism. Through our initiatives like Project S, Destination S, Community Voices, Project Pakistan, and the Digital Voice Program, we are not only committed to preserving Sikh stories. Still, we are actively working to establish a presence for Sikhs within significant studios and media outlets. We aim to inspire our community to take ownership of these narratives by fostering a pipeline of Sikh talent equipped to write, direct, and produce stories from a uniquely Sikh perspective.
